Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information

Effective as of: August, 2025

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. This policy applies globally to all users of the service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect basic account details: your name, email address, company name (if provided), and a chosen password. We do not collect any LinkedIn or other social profile data. Your payment information (credit card details) is processed by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

Google OAuth Information

When you choose to sign in with Google, we collect and store:

  • • Your Google account email address
  • • Your full name as provided by Google
  • • Your Google account unique identifier (used for account linking)

We do not collect or store:

  • • Your Google password
  • • Your Google profile picture
  • • Access to your Google services (Gmail, Drive, etc.)
  • • Any other Google account data beyond the basic profile information listed above

User Content

We collect the text and images you provide as input. This includes the ideas/topics you enter and any images you upload. These inputs are stored and used to generate your LinkedIn posts. (According to common AI service terms, you own the output content of the AI; “you retain your ownership rights in Input and you own the Output,” with all rights in the generated output assigned to you.)

Usage Data

We automatically record certain data about your use of the service, such as your IP address, browser or device type, operating system, and timestamps of your requests. We also log how you interact with the tool (e.g. which features or settings you use).

This is similar to standard “log data” collected by most websites. These logs help us analyze trends, administer the service, and improve functionality.

Cookies and Similar Tech

As noted in our Cookie Policy, we use cookies to maintain preferences and track usage.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Improve the Service: Your account info and inputs allow us to set up your account and generate content. Usage data and logs help us optimize and debug the service.
  • Payment Processing: We use your payment details (via Stripe) to charge subscription and top-up fees. We will not charge you without authorization.
  • Communication: We may send you service-related emails (account notices, billing confirmations, technical updates).
  • Compliance and Safety: We use information as needed to comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud or abuse.

Google OAuth Data Usage

Information from your Google account is used exclusively to:

  • • Create and authenticate your user account
  • • Personalize your experience by displaying your name
  • • Send account-related communications to your email address
  • • Link your account across login sessions
  • • Provide customer support when requested

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share your data in the following ways:

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business. For example, Stripe processes payments, our servers or cloud provider store data, and we may use analytics services to understand usage. If we use an external AI provider (such as a language model host), your prompts and images are sent to that AI engine solely to generate your requested content.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law (e.g. to comply with a court order or to enforce our terms).

Google OAuth Data

  • • We do not sell, rent, or share your Google account information with third parties
  • • We do not use your Google data for advertising or marketing to third parties
  • • Your authentication is processed directly between you and Google
  • • We only receive the minimum profile information necessary for account operation

In all cases, we will handle your information according to this policy. Only the necessary data (e.g. your prompts for content generation) is shared with the AI system to provide the service.

Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, secure servers, access controls). However, no method is 100% secure. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, so your sensitive payment data bypasses our servers.

OAuth Security

  • • We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocol for Google authentication
  • • We do not store your Google password or credentials
  • • Your Google login is handled directly by Google’s secure servers
  • • We only receive basic profile information that you explicitly consent to share
  • • All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS

Account Linking

  • • Your Google account is linked to our service using a unique identifier
  • • If you already have an account with the same email address, we will link your Google authentication to that existing account
  • • You can use both Google OAuth and email/password authentication interchangeably

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. For instance:

EU/UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to certain processing.

California (CCPA)

You have rights to know what data we have collected, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of data. (Note: as above, we do not sell your data.)

Your Rights and Account Management

Account Control

  • • You can disconnect Google OAuth from your account at any time
  • • Disconnecting Google OAuth will not delete your account or data
  • • After disconnecting, you can set up email/password authentication to continue accessing your account
  • • You maintain full control over what information you share during the Google sign-in process

Data Access and Correction

  • • You can view and update your profile information in your account settings
  • • Your name and email from Google can be updated by updating your Google account or manually in our settings
  • • You have the right to request access to all data we store about your account

Data Retention

Google OAuth Information

  • • We retain your Google-provided profile information (name and email) for as long as your account remains active
  • • This information is essential for account identification and authentication
  • • To request account deletion, please contact our support team
  • • Account deletion requests are processed manually by our team

Account Deletion

  • • Currently, account deletion must be requested by contacting our support team
  • • We do not offer self-service account deletion through the application
  • • When processing deletion requests, we permanently remove all associated data from our systems
  • • Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed

Legal Basis for Processing (For EU Users)

We process your Google OAuth data based on:

  • • Consent: You explicitly consent when choosing to sign in with Google
  • • Contract Performance: To provide you with the content generation services you’ve requested
  • • Legitimate Interest: To maintain account security and prevent unauthorized access

You can exercise these rights by contacting us via the contact options below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights.

Children’s Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under this age. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it.

Third-Party Privacy Policies

When using Google Sign-In, you are also subject to:

These policies govern how Google handles the authentication process and any data they collect during sign-in.

International Transfers

Because we are a global service, your data may be stored or processed in countries outside your home country (for example, on servers in the USA or EU). We will protect your data with appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by law.

Google Authentication

Google OAuth authentication may involve data processing in various countries where Google operates. This processing is governed by Google’s privacy practices and international data transfer safeguards.

Google API Services Compliance

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top will reflect the last revision. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in-app notification). Please review this page periodically for updates.
